How It Works

Nativeneem Neem Insecticide assists in the management of aphids, thrips, whiteflies, leaf mining flies, mealy bugs, mites, and scale.

The active ingredient azadirachtin works primarily as an anti-feeding agent and insect growth regulator (IGR), inhibiting moulting and disrupting pest reproduction cycles. When used according to label directions, it is suitable for a wide range of food crops with a short withholding period — making it a practical organic crop protection option for commercial operations.

Low toxicity to bees when applied as directed. Avoid spraying when bees are actively foraging.

Non-toxic to humans, birds, animals, earthworms, and beneficial insects when used as directed.

Usage

Shake well before use.

Mix 1ml per litre of water as a standard application rate. For higher pest pressure, up to 2ml per litre may be used where required.

Apply as a thorough foliar spray, ensuring complete coverage of upper and lower leaf surfaces.

Repeat at 7 to 14 day intervals depending on pest pressure. For preventative programmes, apply every 3 to 4 weeks during periods of risk.

Do not mix with copper, alkaline, or sulphur-based sprays. Always follow full label directions and resistance management guidelines.

Ingredients

Azadirachtin 10g per litre as an emulsifiable concentrate, also containing 390g per litre neem oil. Derived from Azadirachta indica, this formulation provides a concentrated neem-based organic insecticide suitable for commercial and large-scale horticultural use in New Zealand.
